We tend to spend a lot of time in our kitchens so you want to make sure it ticks a lot of boxes.
With a few minor structural changes of removing a built in oven/microwave combo and cutting down a half wall ledge we were able to significantly improve the accessibility of this space to better suit the client. This also helped increase the bench space and reconnect to adjoining lounge and dining rooms.
The Smeg appliances added top notch functionality and reduced cleaning needs as the seamless induction cook top sits neatly into the stone top, below bench oven complete with pyrolytic self cleaning feature and addition of slimline dishwasher.
The natural Tasmanian Oak veneered cabinetry and hexagon edge splash back adds some warmth and fun to this modernised kitchen. A nod to the retro era is brought in with the hand carved oak handles throughout, the occasional blue drawer fronts and contrasting orange appliances!
